The World Record of ‘youngest black belt in martial arts’ has been achieved by Agnivesh Jyotiraditya (05 years 11 months 25 days) from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

On May 02, 2010; Master Agnivesh (son of Mr. K P Krishna Kumar and Dr. Anjana R) has been awarded the black belt by Japan Karate Shotokai-India.

The World Record of “Youngest to Have a Black Belt” was achieved by Christian Gregrov of St. Petersburg, Russia. Christian Gregrov of St. Petersburg, Russia became the youngest person ever to have earned a black belt in the discipline of Karate. Christian, who trains at the Alexander Martial Arts Academy, was awarded the black belt at the tender age of 6. He has been learning this ancient martial art since the age of 2. His parents have given him full support and he believes that they are the true people behind his success.
