Longest chess marathon

The Wold Record of ‘longest chess marathon’ has been jointly achieved by Mr. Magne Sagafos and Mr. Joachim Berg-Jensen from Stavanger, Norway.

During June 22-24, 2015; Mr. Sagafos and Mr. Berg-Jensen played the chess for 40 hr 42 min. The World Record was attempted to promote the chess in Norway.

The World Record of ‘largest book signing marathon by an author in a single sit’ has been achieved by Mr. Orrin Woodward from Columbus, Ohio, USA.

On June 21, 2014; Mr. Woodward signed Six Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty Six (6786) books. He signed the new book ‘And Justice for All’ (Obstacles Press and Next Century Publishing) at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus in 6 hours and 33 minutes.

The World Record of ‘most people transplanting seedlings’ has been jointly achieved by Council of Agriculture Executive Yuan and Taoyuan County Farmers’ Association from Taoyuan, Chinese Taipei.

In an event organised by Council of Agriculture Executive Yuan, Twelve Hundred Fifteen (1215) people transplanted 30,0000 rice seedlings in two hectares area.

On January 11, 2015; Six Hundred Eleven (611) faces were painted by a team of five led by Mr. Kaito.

The World Record of ‘widest waterfall of the world’ has been achieved by The Khone Falls from Laos.

The Khone Falls also known as Chutes de Khone is the widest waterfall in the world. It is Thirty Five Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Six (35376) feet wide, which is almost twice the width of second widest waterfall; Pará Falls. The falls are part of the Mekong River in Laos and occur where the river splits into seven large and many smaller channels. It is made up of several different rapids and falls, cascading down 69 feet. The most defined part of the waterfall is a 45-foot drop, at an angle of 60 degrees. About 410,000 cubic feet of water rush down this waterfall every single second.

The World Record of ‘costliest train station of the world’ has been achieved by the station Oculus from New York.

Initially budgeted at $2 billion, it has reached up to $3.85 billion, which made it the costliest station in the world. The building, designed by Spanish-Swiss architect Mr. Santiago Calatrava is a giant oval made up of steel ribs and glass laid out in elliptical shape, reaching for the sky like wings of a bird. Space measures 350 feet (107 meters) long by 115 feet (35 meters) at its widest point. The World Trade Center Transportation Hub, which is expected eventually to serve more than 200,000 commuters daily, is built next to the site of the Twin Towers, which were destroyed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.

Goswami 108 Dwarkeshlalji Maharajshri delivered preaching from a yacht and audience also listened it from hundreds of boats floating in the river Yamuna at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India.
