The Largest Paper Envelope

The World Record of making Largest Paper Envelope has been achieved by Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh and Aaditya Pratap Singh from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
Mr. Singh have made the envelope measuring 73 ft 8 inch in length and 36 ft 1 inch in width on March 02, 2013 at city 36 Mall, Telebandha, Raipur, India. The envelope was made by paper with the help of glue and cellophane tape. To decorate the envelope; Bastar art work was also adhered on it.

The World Record of making ‘smallest optical mouse’ has been achieved by Cyber Inc Pvt. Ltd. Singapore.

As on Jan 10, 2008; ‘Z-Nano Mouse’ the smallest optical mouse manufactured by Cyber Inc Pvt. Ltd., measured 42.5 mm (1.67 in) long, 20.5 mm (0.81 in) wide and 17.6 mm (0.69 in) thick.

The World Record of ‘longest chain of helmets’ has been achieved by Keppel Offshore & Marine Limited Sentosa Island, Singapore.

At Siloso Beach, Sentosa Island, Singapore on October 21, 2007; longest Chain of Helmets made with eighteen Thousand (18,000) safety helmets measured 5,664 m (18,582 ft).

The World Record of making ‘heaviest insect’ in the world has been achieved by the Giant Weta species of New Zealand.

This particular specimen was found by a nature observer and discoverer called Mark Moffett. This insect was found in a remote island of New Zealand called the Little Barrier Island. There are over more than seventy types of Weta species in New Zealand but the Giant Weta is the biggest insect in the world because of its weight. The Giant Weta species resembles a cricket in appearance and is endemic to the Little Barrier Island. This particular insect weighed 71 gms. and had a wing-span of seven inches.

The world record for the ‘largest cupcake’ has been achieved by Duff Goldman of the Food Network from Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.

The total weight of the cupcake was 61.4 pounds (27.86 kgs) and its height was more than 12”. Duff Goldman used 6 pounds of butter, 10 pounds of sugar, and three ounces of food coloring to make the cupcake. Cupcake was made on March 30, 2008 at the Mall of America in Minneapolis.

The World record of creating largest map on the ground has been achieved by Christ Seva Medical, Education & Social Association in association with Vinod Kadam Mitra Mandal at Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India.
Biggest Map measured 18295.62 square meters (60025 sq. feet). On January 25 and 26, 2013 the map was created with the help of 5000 kilogram rangoli of nine eco-friendly colors and 2000 small plants at Clara Bruce High School Ground, Ahmednagar.

The World Record of making World’s ‘biggest rangoli’ has been achieved by Mr. Manickam Selvendran, Collector & DM Singrauli; in association with Mr. Tejinder Singh, Chairman, Sheela Foundation and Northern Coalfields Limited from Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Logo of ‘Save Girl Child Campaign’ was made in rangoli; measuring 22,863 square meters (2,46,095 square feet). On April 14, 2013; more than 1500 students at the NCL stadium Jhingurdah, Singrauli, made the Rangoli in which about 50,000 kg of rangoli colors in seven shades were used.

World’s Largest Tea Party

The World Record for the largest tea party in the world is held by the city of Indore, MP, India.

On 28th Feb 2008 More than 40,000 participants joined forces to become a part of the world’s largest tea party. The venue for the particular event was Nehru Stadium in Indore. The event was organized by the Dainik Bhaskar group which is one of the leading media and publishing house of Central India. The total number of volunteers for the event were 980 who used a total of 2500 liters of milk and 2500 liters of water. Along with that, 250 kgs of tea and sugar were used to prepare the beverage. Tea Board along with consumer goods production company Hindustan Lever were the co-sponsors of the event.

The World Record for ‘largest flaming image’ has been achieved by 118 Sandoz employees of Pakistan at the Hotel Serena in Faisalabad, Pakistan.

on 10 December 2009 using candles consisted of 35,478 candles. The completed image was made of the Sandoz logo and motto and had an area of 910.45 m² (9,800 ft²). The number of participants who drew the image was 118 and it took them 7 hours to draw the image. After this, another 1.5 hours were needed to place the candles, and 42 minutes to set them alight.

In an event organized on September 22, 2012, a team under the guidance of Mr. Bharatsinh Parmar prepared the largest Roti weighing 145 kg.
