The World Record of ‘largest beaver dam’ in the world has been achieved by the beavers of northern Alberta, Canada.

The total length of this massive natural structure is 850 meters (2,800 feet). The record breaking beaver dam is located in a very inaccessible and remote area of the forests of northern Alberta on the southern edge of the Wood Buffalo National Park
Scientists believe on study that the dam structure would have started building in the mid 1970s. Many generations of beavers might have taken part in making this dam.

The World Record of ‘largest freshwater aquarium’ in the world has been achieved by River Safari of Singapore.

The total freshwater volume used in the aquarium is Two Thousand (2000) cubic meters which amount to about 440,000 gals. The total display of the viewing window is 22 meters by 4 meters. This aquarium tank is a section of the Amazon Flooded Forest exhibit.

Aquarium exhibit contains 18 different species of fish and animals such as Arapaima, Piranha, River Otters and Manatee etc.

The Moussaieff Red Diamond (formerly known as the Red Shield Diamond) is a largest red diamond measuring 5.11 carats (1.022 g) with a triangular brilliant cut , with fancy red color. It is the world’s largest known red diamond. The Moussaieff Red was discovered in the 1990s by a Brazilian. It is currently owned by Moussaieff Jewellers Ltd.

The World Record of making ‘largest crossword puzzle (English)’ has been achieved by Pedro Bartolay (67year), from San Jacinto, Masbate, Philippines.

Mr. Bartolay, a former school principal has made the largest crossword puzzle of the world with Four Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Five (4,225) words and 11,000 boxes. It measures 4.5 ft. by 4.5 ft. in size. He has also made a booklet of to solve it.

The World Record of ‘smallest published book’ in the world has been achieved by Teeny Ted from Turnip Town from, Canada.

World’s smallest published book measures just 70 micrometres by 100 micrometres. This smallest book is a 30 micro-tablet book carved on a pure crystalline silicon page, etched using an ion beam at the Simon Fraser University, Canada.
The book is authored by Malcolm Douglas Chaplin and published by Robert Chaplin with ISBN number is ISBN-978-1-894897-17-4. It is so small that a scanning electron microscope is required to read it.

The World Record of ‘biggest coin stair made and balanced on palm in a minute’ has been achieved by Rodrigues Gustavo from Cancun, Mexico.

The record was achieved by Mr. Gustavo on November 19, 2013. The total number of coins used to make the coin stairs were Sixty Seven (67). All the coins used belonged to the Mexican Currency. Mr. Gustavo has been practicing the art of balancing coin towers since childhood.

The World Record of ‘tallest statue’ in the world has been achieved by the statue of Spring Temple Buddha from Lushan county, Pingdingshan, Henan province China.

The statue depicts the Vairocana Buddha. The total height of the structure is 128 meters (480 feet). The structure comprises of two sub-structures other than the main human figure which stands on top of them. They include a lotus throne which is 20 meters (66 feet) tall which is placed on a pedestal. Thus the total height of the full structure is 153 meters (502 feet).

World’s Largest Truck

The World Record of ‘largest truck’ in the world has been achieved by The Terex 33-19 ‘Titan’ from Sparwood, British Columbia, Canada.

The engine of the truck measures 10,343 cubic inches. The total length of the vehicle is 20.35 meters (66 feet, 9 inches), width 7.8 meters (25 feet, 7 inches) and length 6.88 meters (22 feet, 7 inches). The total weight of the truck is 548.48 tonnes. This truck was produced by the Terex Division of General Motors and assembled at General Motors Diesel Division’s London, ON, Canada assembly plant. After decommissioning in 1998; the decommissioned vehicle is now kept for static display in Sparwood.
