The world record of ‘longest journey by car by a differently abled person in a single country’ has been achieved by Mr. Laxmikant Shirke from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India.

Till May 17, 2014; Mr. Shirke has travelled more than 25000 km (15534 miles) in 18 months by his modified car. Mr. Shirke had lost one hand and one leg in accident. Winner of Monsoon car rally; Mr. Shirke performs all his daily work without prosthesis.

The World Record of ‘longest line of pizzas’ has been jointly achieved by The Van Duzer Foundation and the St. Lucie County Education Foundation from Fort Pierce, Florida, United States of America (USA).

Both the organizations joined together to make a line of pizzas which measured 541.8 meters (almost 1778 feet). There were Eighteen Thousand (1800) pizzas, each of 12” diameter which was used to make the longest line of Pizzas.

As on June 30, 2011; the line of socks which was made to create the record had a total of Thirty Five Thousand One Hundred Twenty Eight (35128) socks. All the socks that were used to create the line were red in color.
