The World Record of ‘carving most number of artifacts from betel-nuts’ has been achieved by Mr. Manish Jhawar from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Till date Sept 20, 2013; Mr. Jhawar has carved more than Two Thousand (2000) artifacts from Betel-Nuts. All the carved artifacts are single piece and have shape of various articles like monuments and idols of gods & goddess etc.

His collection consists of perfume bottles of various sizes, shapes, colors and materials. All collected antique Perfume Bottles are manufactured during 1600 (Mughal Empire) to 1950 (Holkar Empire).

World Record of ‘longest single-strand pearl necklace’ has been achieved by Shimashi Kanko Kyokai from Mie, Japan.

At the 60th Pearl Festa in Kashikojima, Shima, Mie, Japan; pearl necklace measuring the length of 222 meter (728 ft 4 in) with weigh of about 20 kg, comprising of 27,750 pieces of 8 mm pearls was displayed on 22 October 2010.
