Largest Structure of Aluminum Cans

The World Record for the ‘largest structure made out of aluminum cans’ has been achieved by the Toyohashi Junior Chamber at Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
On September 21, 2013; the structure was made in the shape of the castle and One Hundred Four Thousand Eight Hundred Forty (104,840) aluminum cans were used to create it. The dimensions of the aluminum can castle were 6.6 meters wide, 5.5. meters long and 5 meters high. The cans were glued together to each other by using an adhesive agent. The artwork was made based on the theme of Yoshida Castle which got destroyed before World War-I and was reconstructed after World War-II.

Longest Aloud Reading Marathon

The World Record of ‘longest aloud reading marathon’ has been achieved by Mr. Deepak Sharma Bajgain from Kathmandu, Nepal.
Bajgain continuously read different books in the presence of distinguished personalities from different sectors for One Hundred Twenty One (121) hours in Khula Manch, Kathmandu. Eighty judges were present in three hour shifts to invigilate Deepak. Program was organized by The Readers Club while Destination Overseas Consultant Pvt. Ltd., Chaudhary Group and Everest Insurance sponsored the program.

Longest Line of Teddy Bears

The World Record of ‘longest line of teddy bears’ has been achieved Nicholas & Bears (Holdings) Ltd. and the Ritz Carlton from Hong Kong, China.

The total number of teddy bears which were the part of the record making line was Four Thousand Forty One (4,041). The record was created on December 30th, 2013 and the venue of the record was 102nd floor of the Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong. The event was organized on an invitation basis and the funds were donated to the Make-a-Wish foundation as an act of charity.
