The World Record of making ‘Most People solving crossword simultaneously at a single location’ has been achieved by Future Group of Institutions and tabloid newspaper Compact: Amar Ujala group of publication from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India.

On Oct 29, 2013; in an event, 3939 (Three Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty Nine) students solved a crossword simultaneously in the campus of Future Group of Institutions.

Record was made during the event ‘Diwali Carnival’ organized by Amar Ujala: A leading news paper of India.

The World Record of making ‘Most People solving crossword simultaneously at a single location’ was achieved by Bina Nusantara (Binus) University’s English Club from Jakarta, Indonesia. On Feb. 21, 2010 as part of the English Club’s 6th Nationwide English Olympics; 550 participants did crossword. The competition held at the Pacific Place mall in Jakarta.

The World Record of making ‘Most People solving crossword simultaneously at a single location’ was achieved by the NPO Universal Education Society from Berlin, Germany. In an event 400 people solved the crossword simultaneously on Sept. 3, 2009.
