Longest Cycling in an Hour

The World Record of ‘longest cycling in an hour’ has been achieved by Mr. Francesco Russo from Switzerland.

Mr. Russo rode the recumbent bicycle or Human Powered Vehicle called Eiviestretto and covered a distance of 91.556 kilometres (56.89 miles) in an hour. The record was set during the DEKRA Test Oval track in Klettwitz, Germany.

Previous World Record:

The World Record of ‘Longest cycling in an hour’ was achieved by Mr. Sam Whittingham from Canada. In 2009; Mr. Whittingham had covered the distance of 90.724 km (56.373 miles) in an hour.
