Longest Aloud Reading Marathon

The World Record of ‘longest reading aloud marathon’ has been achieved by Yatish Chandra Shukla from Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

During Jul 06 – 11, 2019; Mr. Shukla read aloud various books for One Hundred Eighteen hours Fifty Three minutes (118H:53M).

Previous World Records:

The World Record of ‘longest reading aloud marathon’ was achieved by Yatish Chandra Shukla from Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. During Sep 25 – 30, 2018; Yatish performed reading aloud marathon for One Hundred Fourteen hours Five minutes and Twenty Five Seconds (114H:05M:25S).

The World Record of ‘longest reading aloud marathon’ was achieved by Mr. Deepak Sharma Bajagain from Kathmandu, Nepal. During Sept 16 – 24; Mr. Sharma reeled off 17 books of 13 authors in One Hundred Thirteen hours and Fifteen minutes (113 hrs 15 min). The World Record was attempted at Tudikhel Ground, Kathmandu.

The World Record of ‘longest aloud reading marathon’ was achieved by Mr. Adrian Hilton from England. Hilton read a Shakespearean masterpiece continuously for 110 hours and 46 minutes.
