The World Record of ‘first father-son duo to climb Mount Everest’ has been achieved by Peter Hillary and Sir Edmund Hillary.

Hillary family is the first father-son duo to climb Mount Everest. Mr. Peter Hillary touched the summit in 1990 while his father Sir Edmund Hillary had created the history back on May 29, 1953, by climbing the summit of Mount Everest for the first time. Thus Hillarys are the ‘first family’ of Himalayan mountaineering with two generations of Everest climbers.
