The World Record ‘bridge with longest cable-stayed main span’ has been achieved by The Øresund Bridge from Denmark and Sweden.

The high bridge part of the Øresund Bridge has the longest cable-stayed main span of all bridges in the world. The Øresund Bridge connects Amager and Oresund in the island Zealand of Denmark with Skane, Sweden. This bridge and tunnel goes under water to allow movement of ships. In order for ships to pass, this bridge is half under the water. One can drive down in the water and then come out on the other side.
