The World Record of collecting largest number of Mis-printed currency notes with various denominations has been achieved by Mr. Brij Mohan Khandelwal from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India.

As on Dec 23, 2013; Mr. Khandelwal has Collection of Five Hundred Forty (540) mis-printed currency notes released by Reserve Bank of India. These all circulated currency notes range from INR 1 to INR 500. Mis-printing in the currency notes includes different serial numbers in the same note, mechanical cutting error, missing serial number, grossly misprinting, half folded printing, mis-impression, extra bit of paper, single side serial numbering, Butterfly folding, misaligned digit, Obstructed printing etc.

Previous World Record:

The World Record of collecting Mis- printed currency notes with various denominations was achieved by Mr. Laxminarayan Lahoti from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. Until July 08, 2013; Mr. Lahoti has Collection of 190 Mis-printed currency notes released by Reserve Bank of India. These circulated & un-circulated currency notes ranges from INR 1 to INR 1000.
